We can re‑test special materials like titanium. Customers ask us, "How do you control product quality?" We answer, "We have a pressure vessel manufacturing license. We follow strict quality management during production. We run tight tests before shipping." The titanium shell and tube heat exchanger is made almost entirely of titanium. Titanium has excellent corrosion resistance. It is especially resistant to chloride ions – the salt in seawater. It hardly corrodes at all. Titanium also has high strength. Its density is lower than steel.

Senior skilled workers operate them. This product is most often used in seawater desalination and offshore engineering. Seawater flows directly through the shell side or tube side. Titanium is not afraid of it at all. In the chlor‑alkali chemical industry, the fluid contains a large amount of chloride ions. Normal stainless steel would get pinhole leaks in a few days. Titanium can last for many years. The pharmaceutical industry also needs titanium for high‑purity medicine fluids. Titanium does not release metal ions that could contaminate the medicine.

 

We give an 18 month warranty on titanium units

 

Customers ask us, "Do you provide a warranty? How long?" We answer, "18 months after delivery to your site." Titanium equipment costs more than stainless steel. But its service life is much longer. We have a seawater desalination plant customer in the Middle East. They use our titanium shell and tube heat exchanger as a brine heater. The shell side runs high‑concentration brine at 110°C. After three years of operation, they opened it for inspection. There was no corrosion at all. We believe that if your fluid contains chloride ions and is strongly corrosive, a titanium shell and tube heat exchanger is the only correct choice.
